We honestly believe everyone will be happy with a puppy or dog from Tallgrass Kennels.
 

The goal of our breeding program is to consistently produce outstanding Labrador Retriever started dogs and puppies.  Our puppies are bred for health, intelligence, temperament, and working ability. We feel we can meet our breeding objective by very selectively breeding previously proven lines of Labrador Retrievers out of the United Kingdom. 

Our guarantee assures you that you'll receive your registerable puppy/dog in a healthy condition.  Your dog's hips will be within the realm of normalcy as defined by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFFA), and his/her eyes will be certifiable by the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) to be free of heritable eye disease.

In the event a puppy is diagnosed with hip displasia or an eye defect, we will gladly provide you with a credit for a puppy from another litter.  We require the condition to be verified by our veterinarian and also require proof the dog has been spayed/neutered. We offer this replacement policy until the dog is two and one-half years old.  This guarantee will be voided if the dog has been bred or used as a stud.  Besides genetic predisposition, other possible contributing factors to hip displasia can be rapid growth and weight gain (due overfeeding or feeding food not formulated for large breeds), over working, or environmental factors such as slippery floors or injury. 
 

We want you to be as pleased and happy with your dog as we are with ours. We hand-raise and socialize our puppies, and it is our hope that our puppies will be placed in homes where they are loved and treated as members of the family as well as given the regular opportunity to bird hunt and do what they were bred to do.
