Gunner, our British lab, turned one in 2008 and spends most of his time thinking about food. He likes to entertain himself by playing soccer with his stainless dog dish, which many times ends up in his water pail- a rare breed that washes his own dishes. His antics and affection have made him an integral part of the family. Gunner is a bright eyed, blockheaded (a handsome feature), animated puppy even though full grown. He weighed in at 65 lbs for his shots this Fall. He loves to watch me fish!

River is doing GREAT!! He listens well and training is fun with him, he wants to be there and doing things. I call him my 10 min. dog, I show him something for 10 min then he gets it!!! After that it is just having fun practicing something we learned. I decided to take him hunting this year since he seemed to be ready and boy was I right. River in the field is just a joy to watch and witness every bird teaching him. He actually brought me a rooster that was alive!! He was just about back to me when the bird wiggled free no problem though after shooting the bird, River just went to find it and bring it back.
Around the house he loves to hang out with the kids and Jake my 2 year old loves to play with him. Abby my 3 year old likes to take River for “walks.” This is where the training has come in real handy. I have River heel to me and Abby holds the leash then she can “walk” him. Even now on a lead Abby will march around the house and River has never pulled her over. The kids can’t say the “v” sound yet real well so River answers to Riber when the kids call him that. My wife has found a new walking partner; she feels better walking with him rather than walking alone.
River has truly been a blessing to our family and will be in the future. The kids have a 3rd “sibling” to play with and I have a hunting buddy. ~ Josh in MN

Kodiak has a great nose! He found several cripples that we could not see. What a lot of fun! I wish I had brought my video camera. He was swimming after a diving drake and came up with a mouth full of lilly pads. That didn't deter him as he spun around, spit out the lilly's and caught the drake! Kodi really likes to hunt. He jumps right in my boat and stays there until I call him out when we land. I got several comments from other hunters who saw us returning to the truck. They knew we had our limit and were impressed on how steady he was riding in that little boat. Thanks again for a great hunting partner!

Ripper
(a term for a really good skier)
has adjusted well to our family. He has slept through every night since we brought him home.
We get lots of compliments on what a calm and well adjusted pup he is.

We've really been enjoying Kota. She is very playful, a good listener, and obedient. Sydney is working to get her walking on a leash. She seems to be learning quickly. She loves to be around us and all the attention we give her.

Water fun!

We love Indie. He is the best dog at puppy class. People constantly stop us to ask about him and tell us how beautiful he is. He is adjusting well. He loves the lake, loves water, and loves to nap. He is a mellow little guy. Brennan has especially bonded - he gets him up at 6:15 and takes care of him before he gets on his 7am bus to middle school, he is the perfect companion.

Indie is now 6 months and just a gem. We absolutely love this little dog! He has so much of Bridger and Ella in him that we sometimes laugh…He is so attentive, ALWAYS with us. At that same time, he has these intense eyes and can be so fixated on everything. It was the bows on the presents…he simply could not get enough of them! He preferred red bows, which was funny. He unwrapped a much awaited dog bed. We bought one that felt just like his siblings/Ella’s fur. He immediately dove his head and shoulders into the bed. He has been in and out of that dog bed all day.

We thank you and God for bringing us all together. What a joy and blessing he is!

PS – the kids still tell us that he was the best thing that ever happened to us….
Kodi

My son Carter (7 years old) thinks Kodi is the absolute best. They have fast become very good buddies, and I'm thankful for him to be able to have a dog he cares for so much. Kodi has been around many kids and really enjoys their company. I even have a neighborhood family that has adopted Kodi as their surrogate dog, and they have him over to play with their kids quite often. They have been equally impressed with Kodi.
I can't thank you enough for a great pet and future hunting partner. I look forward to Kodi continuing to grow and mature!
