Started Pups

We offer Started Pups as an option for our clients who would prefer to miss the “puppy stage.”

Our Started Pups are typically
6-8 months old
Accustomed to walking calmly on lead at heel
Accustomed to water
Accustomed to crates/kennels
Accustomed to gun fire
Reliably delivering retrieved objects to hand
Hunting a specific area on command
Preliminary steadiness has been achieved

At this stage of development, they are polite partners.

Hunting a specific area (including remotely) on command
Reliably responding to whistle (stop, hunt, and recall)

Our training program is not centered around a device;
we do not use electronic collars.
We focus on the relationship between the dog and handler.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.
